AT THE CROSSROADS AGAIN!

Guess What?  Thanks For The Crossroads.
That Is What I Have Found

Oh!  So you come to the crossroads, so am I, so often, so many times.  This is normal, part of life…roads we tread…path and goal…by necessity they cross and intersect.  And, there, at the crossroads, a reminder, a sign pointing to directions…Choose…Opt for the road.  Thanks for the innate, cosmic law permitting roads to cross, providing chances to choose.

Of course, in this context roads are metaphors for our different pursuits be they work or play, professions or hobbies, desk employment, laboring or free enterprise, arts, science, myth and mystery, whatever comes along and what you embark on doing and have a shot at it.

In its very nature life has to keep flowing with renewable energy with ups and downs, the negative and the positive, convergences and divergences, gravity interplaying with antigravity, light and darkness, electrons and positrons and emotions, different and diverse.  And if it isn’t for the change and ups and downs and creation that never ceases, life itself will cease to exist.

At the crossroads there are choices to be made, an invitation to continue the same road, the same path or to opt for another road, a different path. Your road might be leading to a dead end, so you get the hint and choose to change course earlier rather than spending and wasting time back and forth.

At the crossroads, ideas meet one another, challenges, conceptions, fertilizations, resentments or harmonic alliances.  People and different talents meet one another, dialogues start and things happen and don’t happen.

So, when you reach the crossroads in your life, by necessity you will, don’t panic or mourn; consider, reconsider.  Make a free choice to proceed or not to proceed, to take another road or not.  And many times a minor change in direction leads to major changes in outcome and results.

Change in a constance of life and all these – so called changes – are in a way intersections and roads and manifestations crossing, merging and diverging.  A flower withers, another flower blooms, a man dies, another man is born.  The bird on the jacaranda tree stopped singing, another bird will sing.  And, I see the moon fading away, but I know, the moon will return.  In the West sun is setting, but I know it is turning East, it won’t be long before I see it rising again.  It is all crossroads, bringing newness, fragrances, new menus, countless opportunities, chances to regret, to apologize, to mend, to sing praises for life, yourself and others who helped you along the rough road.

Thank God for the crossroads and whether you are walking, peddling your canoe, adjusting your sails to the wind or motoring your boat, surfing or swimming or hard at work. At the crossroads, your invitation is issued to change course and keep on your present course.  Choice is yours.
